St Louis Heel vs The Grizz
St Louis Heel vs The Grizz
Grizz is a St. Louis wrestling institution, and fans know they’re always up for a good time when he steps into the ring. The two big midwestern bears start by locking up and exchanging chops and blows back-and forth. After exchanging numerous lockups, SLH gets Grizz against the ropes and starts delivering chops to the throat and even starts pulling off Grizz’s mask in order to gain an advantage. Grizz comes back with a corner splash and starts working on the big Heel on the mat, dropping his knee several times onto SLH’s throat and planting several boots, but St Louis is not one to give up easily. He returns the favor to Grizz and starts weakening the masked heel’s back, finally trapping him into a corner and going to work on his gut.
Grizz repeatedly tries to get up but keeps encountering vicious chops and boots to the back, keeping down where SLH wants him: on the canvas. SLH gives a master class in stretching your opponent until there is no more to stretch, and then places Grizz into a reverse bearhug. Grizz, however, is able to reverse the hold and start going to town on SLH’s legs and back, stretching out his opponent in many of the same ways he just experienced himself. The two big veterans go back and forth trading punishing holds on their opponent. Both wrestlers are happy to use the ropes (and anything else at their disposal) to their advantage, showing off an impressive array of tactics to gain the advantage, but which one will end up victorious?
