Vanyel vs Grizz (as American Thunder)

Grizz, as his American Thunder persona, is a masked vision in blue who has been tasked with destroying the Irish assassin, Vanyel. From the moment this match starts American Thunder is bound and determined to punish his opponent. The initial tie-up gives Thunder the chance to trap Vanyel’s arm so that Thunder can pummel and pound his vulnerable shoulder. Fists and knees weaken Vanyel until he is forced to the mats. Now weakened American Thunder pours on the pressure and stretches the shoulder to its limit is a tear-inducing armbar. With Vanyel unable to use his arm to defend himself, Grizz then turns to working his victim’s lower back with a quick succession of fists and knees. The stunned grappler then is unable to keep Thunder from wrapping his massive tree trunk legs around his neck and squeezing him senseless. American Thunder slips between back work, neck work, and shoulder work. The ending seems a foregone conclusion, but the Irishman has a few tricks tucked away for just such an emergency.
